The
beach today was spectacular - snow had fallen overnight
and for once the roads weren't too treacherous to get to
the beach. Glorious light made Aldeburgh a photographer's
dream - not a breath of wind and the snow lay unmelted despite
the sun. Not a good time to collect litter though - very
hard to find! - but I took some amazing pictures (sadly
no space for them here...). Disconcertingly, however, the
horizon today was extremely murky: presumably ozone pollutiion
caused by the high pressure. I tried to check out ozone
pollution levels on the Air Quality site but interestingly
these are not monitored at this time of year...
