Woodie Woodie has been a source of manganese for approximately 70 years with an active mining area of approximately 100km2 and an exploration area of 5400km2.
Having temporarily closed in 2016, its new Chinese owners, who acquired the mine in 2020, aim to revive production with a significantly larger area of operations.
